It sure is nice to sit on my porch on a rainy day like today and sip my coca. It’s so quiet and peaceful here, I think I’m finally getting into the swing of life in Boonville. I can’t believe it’s been nearly a month since I moved here.

My little hairy friends are back. The little cuties just want a quick drink of my blood, brb.

Maybe they know something about these strange furry creatures I keep seeing. Maybe I should have asked them about it. I just didn’t want to seem like a nut job to the first friendly people I’ve managed to meet in this town. Maybe I should get a dog.

Next week calls for rain, which should be exciting: I love a good storm!

Who am I kidding? It’s the fact that this town is dull. When I pass someone on the street they won’t even wave or make eye contact. It’s like they’re all afraid of something. I don’t see what they could be afraid of; there are so many stars in the sky at night. This place is just amazing! I think I’m going to have to go to a town hall meeting so I can meet people and see if there is any work around here. After all, a girl can’t go forever without work!

Here’s a funny story: While I was putting my old empty boxes out back today one of them seemed like it was stuck on something when I tried to pick it up. I reached inside to get a better grip and something stuck me! It looked like a needle puncture or something, with just a single drop of blood. When I looked in the box I was expecting to see that hairy thing again or something but there was nothing there. The box wasn’t heavy either any more. It was very weird.

Anyway, off to look for work. Ttyl!

Today while I was unpacking I thought I saw something moving in the corner of the room. It looked like a fuzzy little ball was pulsing in the corner, but when I bent down for a closer look there was nothing there. I’m probably just being paranoid.
